Thanked: 25T/T & L/C
T/T wire transfer is what I used. Letter of Credit is what the big deals must be done with.

all the talk about the amount of work it takes to get these razors into shape finally got to me. I ordered a 777 from mr.parko just a couple minutes ago. Think I'll give it a go on that one and see how I do before buying the 200.
Damn all you enablers!

All three that I have are 13/16ths wide,I'm guessing their all about that size from spine to edge.

Something that should be apparent from pictures of these razors is that they have a smile. So you will need to break out your rolling X honing strokes. Just to brush up your technique look Rolling X stroke - Straight Razor Place Wiki and http://straightrazorpalace.com/video...eo-series.html

Thanked: 25A note on new razors
Thanks Boris for testing your razor. I wondered if Nancy was translating my question correctly.
With all the talk of honing GD's I want to tell you about new razors. I have just received a NOS Henckles the instructions say you do not have to strop it the first time. Do not believe them. I louped the razor and there is noticeable feather with two small spurs near the heal. In the past I received a NOS Boker with a slight hesitation step in the grind. There was another new razor that I can't remember the exact problem.
So if your $15 dollar Gold Dollar needs honing it is in good company.--Jay
