Thread: Announcing The SRP Logo Limited Edition Straight Razor

Shaved with #117 right out of the box to evaluate the edge. It was OK but not quite "there" so I dried it and gave it the royal stropping. Wow, what a difference! It was a very nice, close, comfortable shave. I thought I'd have to take it to the rocks for a touch up but it just needed a bit of leather love and I expect it to just get better for a while with repeated stroppings.

I'm very pleased with the razor, great performance and looks great, thanks Robert!

The same as an old Federal Employee who has been furloughed - put away a couple of dollars a day and gather your spare change on a weekly basis - take it from me, that old government employee. It is a long enough wait to get it done. It is worth it, trust me.

#119 has arrived in Maine. I think I will lather up with some Tabac in the morning for my first shave with it. This razor has some heft to it compared to the straights I have been rotating.

I have dropped SO MANY HINTS about this razor for a Christmas present I feel like Ralphie in A Christmas Story.

The very first day I joined this forum I put in my order. Will be the first, last, custom blade I lay against my skin. Figured it should be worth the wait.
Mine too will end up being a Christmas present to me, from me, as the wife would just not,, get it..literally, or figuratively.
Looking at the lead time, mine will probably end up being an Easter present.. But what a present..
