Update #1:
Just shaved with this razor honed with the Zowada method. All I can say is wow. NOW its really smooth AND sharp, and no weepers. Shaved right off the hone, no stropping or paste. I think I've found the formula for this razor and will be using this method from now on. No more testing
. When I get my calipers I'll measure everything out to see if I can make sense of why the micro bevel with 3 layers of tape makes such an huge difference.

Is that what Tim lists on his website for maintaining Damascus razors?
