I would assume all threaded hardware without lock washers will back off in one direction, even as it tightens in the other.
As my dad said, lefty loosy, righty tighty.

Love #81 and I have tightened it once already.
    Cheers gents.
    Ok that makes sense.

Just loosen off the wedge screw and adjust it to center. May take overcorrecting a bit, but it's a easy task. That's why Robert supplied a allen headed wrench.

Carrying on like it's like a defect is like saying "my razor got dull after 100 shaves", we aren't thinking here.... Razors require maintenance like your car. You must hone them, tighten pins sometimes, give them a cleaning once and a while...you get my point.

I did not know it had a screw. It makes better sense now.

Yeah, I kept tightening the pivot pin, and then tightening again, until it became uneven after a few months. it just took a bit of loosening the wedge end, tightening it in synch with the pivot, and coaxing back to center. As with everything, tinker and troubleshoot til it works, no big deal

I figure at the 100 000 shave mark I will strip it right down, lay her out, clean her up and polish all the components, then re-assemble her for the next ten years..
Great shaver, best I own post Y2K build. :-)
    Cheers.

I do not envy those who are still waiting, boy was it a long wait after I ordered mine (but totally worth it). You will be very happy when it arrives

Just received mine yesterday - #145. Wow! It's really everything it's cracked up to be. Just a beautiful razor. Shaved with it today. A great shave with no pulling or tugging. Which reminds me - I really have to thank shooter74743 for advising me to get one. I was having trouble with my Dovo pulling and tugging, even after being honed by a pro. Shooter74743 (Scott) suggested I look into getting the SRP LE Razor, and even sent me three of his own razors to use until mine arrived! Scott, I can't thank you enough. I'll send your razors back on the first of April. Thanks again for all your kindness.

I learned a long time ago that self proclaimed "pro's" at anything very well may be full of bull. The humble ones that state they are still learning and OTHERS SAY THEY ARE A PRO are the ones to look at and learn from. Glad you got your razor and it's all you hoped it could be. Are you "fooling" me on sending the razors back on the first of april?
