I wonder what was up with the "Made In America" ? Also the fifty cents cheaper ? Maybe the blades were Solingen and the razor/scales were assembled on this side of the pond ? I have never seen or heard of a Made in USA stamped duck.

I just checked my Satinedge and nowhere is it marked with Solingen, Germany or New York. The back of the tang says:
"Pearlduck - Dubl Duck - Reg US Patent. Off."
I'm guessing mine might be one of the American made models.
