Thanked: 20I'll keep it simple, my favorite is an Eric Anton Berg, nothing fancy, just very smooth shaving!

Thanked: 67My two favorites are an Ator (the first proper razor I got), and a Crown and Sword - both by C F Ern of Solingen. Very nice shavers, and also easier to hone (which is good, because I'm still a newb on the stones.)

Granted I'm as new as they come but I love my Wostenholm Conquerer (pictures in an earlier post) so far it has taken an edge the easiest and kept it longer than my Geneva 23 or my Dubl duck Goldedge

The fist I bought was a Dubl Duck Special No 1 covered in rust for 8$ but the scales were awesome. I got it home cleaned the rust off to find the rust had only pitted the blade very little and not killed it. I honed it shaved with it 2 times then dropped it and put a hole in the middle of the grind
I still have it as a reminder of how fragile they really are
I want to shave with it again but I don't think it will ever be

I don't have a favorite yet. I do like razors that hone easily. In my opinion one can't go wrong with razors made in Solingen, Sheffield, Spain, Sweden or USA (Case, Clauss, Geneva, Genco...etc).

I really like too many of mine to have a favorite. In general my preferences would be among my Japanese western style full hollows, followed by Solingens and some customs.

Just on my journey with straights, I have figured out that I prefer bigger blades (min. 6/8).
I have a 7/8 Wusthof and 6/8 Fili that are my favorites to this point...

Thanked: 31I have tried five: Dovo Silver Steel, Renaissance, Best Quality 5/8; a TI that had some problems (so I use it as a tool ); and a pre 1890 vintage wedge that I am slowly getting used to.
My favorite so far is actually the Dovo Best quality. It's blade responds very well to my stropping and sharpening efforts, and it is better than the others for a problem spot I have under my chin.

Thanked: 4249-My favorite razor is the one i found locally for next to nothing....and yes she was all beat up........but after some cleaning and polishing, she slowly started to come back to life, she dont have fancy scales or worked spine but now she shine. After rubbing her on a few stone and make her bevel shine like a mirror she glides all over my face like the best of them.....
