Ladies and gentlemen, here it is the latest addition to my collection. It is just another "travel straight razor" I asked Mastro Livi to make for me. Stainless steel - the same used for Grifetto - and, this time, I asked for scales made of padouk wood. Simple and handy, with a lovely full hollow grinding. I am bringing this with me on my next business trip, of course!

For this business trip I initially decided to bring with me the latest Mastro Livi Inox 6/8 straight razor, but when I was packing, I thought that bringing two razors was even better. That's why I chose a carbon steel - a K720 - in order to double my enjoyment in shaving. This Mastro Livi K720 is just amazing and certainly meets my expectations: smooth, velvety and with a caressing touch so different from any stainless steel. Not to mention how I like its scales with this chequered tips, giving a lovely touch to box wood.

after looking through quite a bit of this thread i'm curious. how many Livi's currently reside in your man house? i've got one and don't foresee myself affording another anytime soon so consider me jealous.

This is the other Mastro Livi straight razor I brought with me in this business trip. This is the second trip in which I am bringing with me two razors in order to make my trip even enjoyable. After all, a Mastro Livi box is big enough to accommodate two relatively small sized razor and I could put both the K720 and this 6/8 Inox. In particular, this is one of the straight razors I ordered to Mastro Livi especially for my trips and I must say I am very happy with it. Smooth yet effective, it has the superb performance of stainless steel combined to the velvety touch of a carbon steel.

I am currently having 192 straight razors in my collection and 17 of them are Mastro Livi's.
And, by the way, I would love to see your Mastro Livi. Now I am the one who is curious!
