Yes, we had an exchange of mails some time ago. About straight razors, of course!

The MWF lathered up rather well, with no signs of thinning out. All well and good. Somewhere between bowl and face though, the lather transformed into the seemingly usual MWF thin bubbles. Yet, in the bowl, there was lather, good and thick. Ah well... onwards. Time for the XTG passes, and... there was some lather in that bowl... I'm sure there was. Where the hell has that gone?? Cue some hateful words thrown at the attractive MWF bowl and its increasingly despicable contents... something along the lines of "I never get this amount of trouble with Tabac, you horrible lump of ...".

    You get the picture.
Funny stuff MWF I was going to bin mine... Did not like the scent much either. I put it in the drawer for three months, something changed, water, soap, weather, shaver? But when I tried it again it smelt nice, made good lather. I can't explain it, but this has happened to me with another soap, and a razor I did not like! Hard to explain really
Straight razor shaving is like motorcycling both require full attention and continuos learning and honing of skills...
