Good morning, gents!
I am in my very own shave nirvana - I have had what felt like my best straight shave in the past several years. For today, I inaugurated a great little Western-style Japanese razor I received recently from a fellow SRP member.
My shave consisted of:
Musgo Real pre-shave oil
Martin de Candre’s unscented shave soap
Mühle Basic Nr. 02 shave brush in horn imitate, 21mm Silver Tip Fibre
Gold-Rex straight, square point, hollow ground (Swedish ASSAB steel)
Bloc Osma Alum
Dr. Alkaidis’ Organic Soothing Gel for AS treatment (exhilarated by how enjoyable the shave was, I did approach my jaw line with a bit too much enthusiasm as a result of which I am now experiencing a wee bit of irritation. Oh well, such is life, one lives and hopefully learns... ;-)
The blade was so smooth and the shave so unbelievably mild, simply fantastic!
Thank you, Jamie for this beautiful little gem of a razor, I owe you a drink or possibly two...Last edited by Smoothy; 08-28-2013 at 03:29 AM.
