This razor just can't seem to deliver even an OK shave, they're all outstanding. Been quite a while since it was honed but it doesn't seem to mind; strop it and you're all set. Two passes BBS. VDH Deluxe may be the most underrated soap ever. Just a good, old school shave this morning.

    YouTube - Fixed W&B SotD Pt 1

Razor; Wade & Butcher Bow reground
    Brush; AoS Pure Badger
    Soap; TGQ's Lavender cream
    Strop; Tony Miller Latigo

After rounding the heel a touch I got the shave I expected from these razors, Fantastic I did get the weird feeling that the heel was alot closer to the tip that I thought it was but never got myself with it. But I could tell I was always watching where it was. Funny as I don't even notice spick points anymore but this heel sure keep my attention

    Friday, 7.9.10

    Cool water splash
    Williams Shave soap (straight up)
    Semogue SOC Boar
    Bowdin's Wedge
Tony Miller Heirloom Strop 40 Linen/70 Leather
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Nivea AS Balm
    Spanish Floïd AS

I thought there was a bit more in this blade, so it went back to the hones yesterday... I was right, as today's shave was just possibly the closest to date. I chose unadulterated Williams as a test for the new Semogue brush. Alot of folks complain of williams being hard to lather, weak lather, dries out too fast... I had none of that. The new SOC brush made a thick, rich lather that wouldn't quit... Highly impressive performance with a finicky soap...

    Default Friday Shave

Cold water splash and rubbed some soap in the beard to soften it up as i stropped.

Strop: 3" latigo leather 60 canvas 120 leather
razor: TI Singing 6/8 2nd pass Le Grelot 6/8
    Brush: Omega 05
    Soap: L'occitain
    AS: Very Sexy For Him

great shave but im worried about my grelot.

The pins are bit loose so the razor swings abit when i have it open but it does stay closed properly tho, tried to tap the pins to tighten them but it worked abit not too much

either way great shave and ill try to fix the pins better.

SOTD Friday July 9, 2010 (Cold Shave) ....Kinda....Sorta

    Razor: 5/8 Solingen Round Point
    Soap: Classic Shaving Sandalwood
    Soap Scuttle: Lord Nelson Ceramic
    Brush: Omega Boar
    ASB: Nivea Replenishing
Aftershave: Aqua Velva Classic Ice Blue (What else with this heat!)

Skipped the hot water and big scuttle. Went with the small Lord Nelson Soap Scuttle I just got for England.
This scuttle is so small it didn't even warm up the soap and it was basically a cool water shave. It felt pretty good with all this heat.
    Nice shave this morning.
