    Hot shower, Neutrogena Pre-Shave
    Scuttle: Dirty Bird, Pre-Warmed
    Strop:SRD Paddle 100 laps
Pre-Shave: Warm NY Shave club Oil
    SC: Geo F. Trumpers
Razor: Double Duck, Satin Edge, C-Mon Scales, Freshly Honed By Ray @ Gentleman's Best
    Astringent: AOS Aluminum Block
Post Shave: Thayers Witch Hazel Rose Petal
    Facial Moisturizer: Nivea

First time shaving with the Double Duck. Very nice shave, easy to handle. Compared to the Wade and Butcher is seemed light in my hand and sang a bit more as it mowed down the whiskers. The usual test was performed and I passed. Very nice razor and nicely honed. I am learning what a properly cared for razor feels like and I think my stropping is on target. I'm sure it will get better but I am finally not killing the razor.

    Hi Donald
I like the brush, but the bristle has little backbone. It is perfect for creme, but I am affraid it may fall a little short for soaps. That's not to say that it cannot be done (I use it with soap to make uberlather) but takes a bit of work

    Hope this helps,
