DUDE! This is a family-friendly board. Don't be showing your penguin!

Seriously, though, nice kit... How do you like the Ogallala Bay Rum soap?

The view today is from out of my office in Northern Virginia. I brought the Helje in with me and, even though she was smooth as butter, I decided to run it across the Thuri a few times after today's shave...

    Gentlemen, enjoy your day!
So, is that what you do all day at work? daydream about shaving. And I thought you were busy working

Nice Helje you got there . And I see that you are seriously missing that Porsche of yours. Did you see this BEAST yet? It's only going to set you off ~$600K (without dealer markup ).

    Thanks. Work, what's that?

I do miss the Cayman tremendously. But, it's okay, I will get another Porsche at some point... I have seen the articles about the Spyder. Of course, it won't set me back the ~$600k, because you have to have that kind of change before you can spend it!

    The sun finally broke through..

Aura Glow as a Pre Shave Oil
    Palmolive Classic Shave Cream
    Vintage dubl-duck shave brush
    Krusius Bros. Eaton 86 11/16ths
    SRD Premium 1 strop .. 40 linen/80 Leather .. What a pleasure!
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Nivea AS Balm
    Osage Rub AS

Pictured in the background in the Smith's Point Bridge, close to the William Floyd Estate and the Manor of Saint George, both sites with ties to the Revolutionary War and the U.S Constitution.
This beautiful bridge also leads to an entry point to the Fire Island National Seashore, a pristine and beautiful beach on the Atlantic.
But, this bridge also has a more somber side, as it leads to one of the TWA Flight 800 Memorials, and there are two on this side of the beach. One at the Pavilion, and one far down the beach where families gather on each anniversary of the tragedy. The breakup of the jumbo jet occurred due south from this point, clearly visible to beachgoers and people in the area.
I won't go into the politics of the explanation of this disaster, but a few folks from this area lost friends and relatives on Flight 800. My daughter attended Elementary and High School with a passenger of TWA 800....

May God keep their souls in the palm of his hand....
