1st off, Robert Congratulations to you and your wife. May many years of happiness follow.

Greg, You and your son are really going to love Normandy. That has been the single most memorable and meaningful trip I have ever taken.

All, Thanks for all of your posts today and everyday. Today was one of those Uber-crappy days at the office and your pics and posts have managed to cheer me up. THANKS!

The day started off so well with the shave:

    Pre-shave: Hot shower
    Strop: Rup Razor
    Scuttle: SRD
    Creme: C.O. Bigelow
    Razor: George Wostenholm Pipe Razor
After Shave: C.O. Bigelow mentha (makes your face feel like ice)
    Result: Very relaxing

Keep the pics coming gentlemen, these shaves are looking/sounding amazing!

    Hi Glenn,
Thank you for the kind words...I think that uber-crappy days are there to remind us of the uber-happy days. Hopefully this one will fold its ugly head and pave the way to a fabulous day tomorrow .

Congrats on that being your first razor. I heard those are difficult to hone because of the steel is very hard.

Razor: Wostenholm Frameback (Vintage Restore by Glen)
    Strop: Kanayama (50/80)
Cream: Al's Potomac Bomb - Look for it in production soon!!
    Brush: Shavemac
    Post: Thayer's Lavender
    ASB: Al's Potomac Bomb ASB
    EdT: Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet

I was fortunate enough to get to test out a new scent upcoming from Al. He calls it Potomac, and it is wonderful. The scent is a great mix of floral, bitter citrus, and a cedar basenote; the lather is just as everyone expects - top notch! That cream combined with the smooth edge Glen put on this Wosty gave me a BBS with 2+ passes!

It's a great way to start your day!
