The backdrop for today's SOTD is an old photo of my Mom and Dad, taken somewhere in Wales. My Mother was a Welsh girl, and my Dad an American soldier staging for the D-Day invasion of occupied France. They made a handsome couple, and I must say that I miss them both quite a bit..

Great pic! My son & I are headed to Normandy next spring break to visit the war memorial - can't wait.

Glycerin is the main ingredient and some other stuff including Alcohol. I don't know why but it keeps your skin soft in the dead of winter.

We've been to Hoover Dam many a times, but I think it's an option.

I was thinking of taking the wife to Hoover Dam... Maybe let the mother-in-law tag along also....

1) That may be inviting trouble . Just kiddin'. Unfortunately, my wife's parents are not too mobile and dislike traveling (long distance bothers them. what a shame )

2) Oh c'mon Bill. I find that hard to believe, especially after the fact that just 2-3 days ago, you posted a fantastic picture of your family (with you glowing with pride). That didn't look (or sound) like man who thinks the honeymoon is over. A different phase of the honeymoon, maybe...but it being over, I ain't buying it. I bet you guys are blissfully married .

Besides, how can I take what you say seriously now ? you had all of us believe that you weren't much to look at and then after that picture of you in the post, we find out that you're a pretty darn good looking guy.
