    you're welcome.
Here you get again a picture of my Diamond:

    For all readers-please realize:
The Diamond is a full hollow "singing razor". By my mind it is not a razor for a beginner. All full hollows need a little bit experience.

Result: Early start to the day...It's almost 5:00AM and I couldn't sleep so I decided to shave and get back to my grant writing. I love my new Scheön Burg (got it from a member on B&B). It's a super sharp razor, where the combination of design, etching/lettering, and form come seamlessly together to create a great "eye candy" for anyone's straight razor collection. The Überlather (led by CarrieM's Lemongrass creme) was super slick today)...Gotta love this stuff . The Scheön was effortlessly gliding over the skin underneath this thick cushiony white snow like an Olympian skiing over a "perfect" slope. This entire choreographed shaving ballet was one of the best "Zens" I have had so far...what a great way to get the creative juices flowing. This was a great start to a brand new SOTD week.

Have a great Sunday guys .
Glad to see the Scheön Berg make it's first appearance in SOTD, Robert... You saved me a good tongue lashing from the wife in buying that! I love the Japanese Western Style straights...

    She's a beauty!

    Default SUNDAY MIDMORNING SHAVE

PREP: Hot shower with face conditoner scrub
    RAZOR: Genco "GoldSeal"
    BRUSH: Tweezerman
SOAP: Uberlather with Trumpers SW and SRD SW
    ASTRINGENT: Thayers SH
    ASB: Skin Food "Sandalwood"
    AS: Master's BayRum
    EDT: Azzaro "Chrome"
    RESULT: Awesome!!

This shave was special because it was the first time i honed up my own blade from start to finish. This Goldseal took an incredible edge and performs just as well as any of my other Gencos. Thanks to David for painstakingly lapping my Naniwas for me and Glen for walking me through a couple of things> Anyway great shave to start off the week and great pics for me to gawk at Guys!!!!

After 7 months of just using straights, I'm enjoying a run through some of my DEs the past couple of weeks. Slept in a bit this morning (a rare thing with 3 kids in the house), so did a quick, but nice two-pass shave. I like my DE shaves but can definitely tell a difference by the end of the day. The smoothness of the straight shave just lasts longer.

    Razor: Muhle Chrome Stylo
    Blade: Feather
    Brush: Simpson Chubby 1
    All the Rest: Tabac
