    Lightbulb

Razor: Case & Sons "Disque's Special" 5/8 spike point.
    Cream:
    Trumpers Limes
    ASB: Trumpers Limes Skin Food
    Result:
Today i had THE BEST SHAVE ever. Light bulb went off in my head and I tried a few changes that greatly affected the quality of my shave. Who would have thought that stretching skin is bad for me? How weird, but how pleasurable to get almost BBS in one pass, and to have cut my time shaving in half with closer results and no irritation or nicks at all. I didn't even shower or do any sort of prep, I just washed my face, left it wet and lathered straight on and went at it.
After today's shave i decided to concentrate 100% on my technique, so my next 5-10 SOTD pictures are gonna be pretty darn similar. I will be sticking to the exact same equipment every time to keep the whole thing about my technique and not my kit (bar maybe cram/soap to see how that affects my shaves).
Since i had to run out of the door i didn't have time to take a picture, so i'm gonna recycle this one of my razor.

I do love my Case. I love it even more after i took it back to the 16k for about 60 laps no pressure. It shaves like no other, and shes always here for you in case you feel like taking her for a spin

    Guten morgen Tom,
There's nothing in this picture that I don't like. Everything is perfect

Great book, great brush, great stone, and great razor ...Don't know much about pipes, but I am sure it is great too. that is an Eagle brand TI, am I right? If so, I have one (originally a birthday gift for dad, which he later asked me to exchange it for a DE...I guess he enjoys those more) and they are fabulous shavers. It feels right in the hands (weight, balance, etc...).

    Robert,
Martin wrote at his website about this razor:

    6/8 Festonné Decorated Back

A very beautiful 6/8 razor with a decorated back and an inverted square point. The lower shank has a thumb rest. Very fine hollow ground (1/1), mirror polish and our exclusive etching "Fox and Rooster" and marvelous snakewood scales (Amourette).
This razors comes shave ready in a genuine leather pouch in a Thiers Issard carton.
The ideal gift for lovers and collectors of historical razors and for strong beards. (Light beards can be shaven with it too!)
Because these blanks are quite old it may happen that some blades are a tiny bit shorter than others.

    Default Wednesday morning

    Pre: Hot shower
    Brush: Semouge 2000
    Razors: Magnetic (I think it´s a D Peres) + Merkur 25c
    Soap: Tabac
    Post: Proraso
    AS: Tabac
    Strop: Neil Miller
    Result: Ok
Head is cleaner than the face. I did the head first and even though I had enogh lather for a couple of more rounds than I did (I did 2 on head and 2 + touch up on face), I only got a decent shave on face. Maybe I was a little to stressed.
