Thank you. Stefan (Mainaman) did the restore for me, and it turned out beautiful. I wasn't sure what I thought about the Black & White Ebony when he first suggested it, but it ended up being a completely fitting choice. It balances very well and just feels right in the hand!

Thanks, my brother in law helped me turn it on his lathe. I may end up getting a lathe since I really enjoyed the process.

    Default Tuesday Morning Shave!

    Shavemac 21mm | MWF | Wacker Mod. 4 | Razorock Alum | Nivea Sensitive

This was my first shave with this Wacker and I will say it is a very heavy blade and that will take some getting used to. The shave was smooth, but some razorburn followed. I think from too much pressure given it is a heavy wedge and there is little feedback.

While I was happy with the shave, there were some quality issues with the scales. The scales are scratched, slightly warped and one side of the scales is larger then the other. This creates no issues with the shave, but the razor cannot stand on its own and must be lying flat or leaning against something.
I guess this is a razor and a razor is a "tool," so I am not going to go crazy about some slight issues with the scales.

    Tomorrow's shave.
Razor; Hibbard Spencer shaves like a dream and easy one of the easiest to hone and keep sharp, in my book.
Creme is COL Conk. Still waiting for my Ogallala to get here.
A/S is Ogallala Sandalwood. The wife loves it. Very non over powering faint pleasant smell.

Tonights shave was well needed. I needed the alone time. Relax and calm down. I brought out my Dovo Pearlex. I am surprised that some people dont like the new Dovo's. She delivered a FANTASTIC shave. BBS smooth with little effort.

    Tony Miller Strop
    TAOS Lemon
    Dovo Pearlex
    Thayers witch hazel
    Skin food
    TAOS Balm

    Have a wonderful hump day!!
