How does it shave? Oh my god RAD is in full bloom.
My Shave of the day after 3 days of razor burn recovery.
Prep: Hot shower, Hot Towel, Proraso Pre Shave (minty)
Lather: Proraso Cream
Razor: Merkur 39C Long Slant Bar
After: Alum Block, Dominican Bay Rum, Nivia ASB
Result: So amazing! Just bought a lot of new products from SRD so I was in face shave heaven!
The pic is of my growing Shave Den. Wife is getting nervous. HA! That is her plant at the right trying to hang on to the last bit of real estate!

Wow, small world. We're in Ofallon. I make the trip to Hermann a couple times of year, but I especially like the drive in the fall. I prefer to take hwy 94, but this year we took 70 out past Truxton and took exit 175. It is faster and that was a good thing since my daughter (21 months) was along for the ride. She had a blast @ stone hill walking around and seeing all the decorations. Drop me a note if you are ever back in the area to visit.
Thanks
Glenn

Robert,
We have some surprisingly good wine in MO, if you like white wine. I'm not saying that a decent red isn't produced, just not as good as the white IMHO (most of the reds produced are very sweet). The wine region in MO has a very strong German heritage so wine similar to Rieslings are very good. The area also produces a very nice Chardonel as well as a nice Golden Spumante. It depends on the vineyard that you go to (my favorite is Stone Hill). Merlot, Cabernet, & Chardonnay are produced by some vineyards here, but they pale in comparison as those grapes don't do as well in our region.
Cheers!

It was tonight but it looks like it'll be a recurring gig. Stay tuned for details.
Like nothing else. It's a very "just you and the road" kind of razor. Hard steel, smooth like crazy, strops easy, handles effortlessly, sharp as any edge I've ever tried.
