Truefitt & Hill 1805 Cream, ASB & Cologne
First time using any of the T&H samples and I have to say I was very impressed with the quality and performance of the cream and balm. Not too hip on the cologne however. There's some kind of weird synthetic / chemical note in it that's rather off-putting. Overall, an excellent shave! Close, smooth and comfortable!
Great pics gentlemen!!

I enjoy the Lagavulin also. I agree, smooth and peaty. If you hit the Penn State Creamery grab some Butter Pecan. A good Scotch followed by the Butter Pecan Ice Cream= Butter Scotch taste. Very, Very nice. I will say I chose the Lagavulin because it goes exceptionally well with the Ice Cream. The peaty taste of the Scotch and the sweet taste of the Butter Pecan. hmmmmmmm.

Week of October 10 SOTD - Saturday
Saturday Morning Shave
Pre-Shave: Hot shower Pre-Shave Oil: Truffit & Hill Razor: 6/8" C.V. Heljestrand "Royal Kindal", Full Hollow, Round Point Brush: 22mm Vulfix Super Badger Überlather: Geo Trumper's Sandalwood Shave Creme + Cella Crema Da Barba Shave Soap+ Glycerin Astringent: Thayer's Witch hazel (Rose Petal, no alcohol) Moisturizer: Trumper's Fragrance-free Moisturizer EDT: Azarro Pour Homme Result: Another great shave today with a classic in my collection; the Heljestrand - a blade truly worthy of its "Royal" name as the shave she delivered would be one that was fit for Royalty. And I can't forget about the lather. It had been quite a while since I had experienced Trumper's Sandalwood creme. The scent was truly amazing. Mix it with a little Cella and Glycerin and this baby will not only bloom into one of the thickest and moistest lathers, but also provide one of the best and lasting cushions one can hope for.
Have a relaxing Saturday gentlemen and if you happen to be working, then I wish you a productive day.

The H. Diamond razor is impressive! So much so that it has risen to the head of the class. And, it performs smoothly and effortlessly...
The New Forest silvertip brush is another revelation. A great performer with ultra soft tips.
Everyone was highly impressed by today's shave, but none moreso that Froggy, who was absolutely dumbstruck! It made him "plunk his magic twanger!" (for those in my age group )
