Post Week of October 10 SOTD - Monday

Count Down to DC Trip: -1 day

    Pre-Shave: Hot shower
Razor: 7/8" Filarmonica Doble Temple #13, Hollow, Spike Point
    Brush: 22mm Vulfix Super Badger
Überlather: CarrieM "Bay Rum" Shave Creme + Cella Crema Da Barba Shave Soap+ Glycerin
Astringent: Thayer's Witch hazel (Lavender, no alcohol)
    Moisturizer: Trumper's Fragrance-free Moisturizer
After Shave Splash: Floïd Italian Blue
Result: I don't think an elaborate introduction to the Flilarmonica, which was the tool for today's shave, will be necessary to this SOTD crowd. The Tallow/Glycerin concoction led by CarrieM's Bay Rum Creme was a delight to the skin. Aaaahhhhhhh!!! Beautifully BBS all throughout. A mix of Trumper's moisturizer with a few drops of Floïd AS left my skin moisturized and refreshed. A wonderful start to this Monday.

Tomorrow will be my last straight razor (or even DE) shave for a couple of days ...I am leaving for DC on Tuesday AM with two carry-on bags...As such, I cannot take my DE or any straights on board . As much as I hate to do this, I will have to stick to my Fusion razor until Thursday (but my Vulfix brush and Godrej creme are going with me). Friday will be back to the straight world.

Have a great Monday gentlemen .

This blade has always treated me good, even though it´s a silver steel blade. Ohh,, and a pic that made me laugh, Neil Millers edges surely makes my life easier . Tomorrow I´ll have a Turkish shave ...
That is too funny...Enjoy your Turkish shave and do let us know how it was like.

I don't have much choice...will have to do. At least, I won't be using any goo in a can. And, it's only 2 shaves.
