Did a test shave today of a few razors I've received recently. Not the best shave I've had but it was acceptable. Today's shave showed me two things. 1, I still need to work on developing my honing skills more and 2, I'm getting there!

    Great pics gentlemen!
I iterate what Bruce said: Beautiful blades Mark.

I love the deep etching on the "Clean Cut"...wowwww! Once you get that thing honed and 100% shave ready, there's no telling what that baby will do

Had fresh Apple Cider and freshly made apple fritters.
As usual, Ray was a great host in the store. I never was able to get a good lather from soap so we talked about it for a while. I took home some Signature soap, a double sided leather strop I liked and some other goodies.

Shave today was great after a two day growth.

    Hot shower with facial scrub.
    Warm oil
    Gentleman's Best Soap
    Badger brush
    Hannah made ceramic bowl
W&B Razor stropped on the SRD P1 and felt
    AOS Aluminum
    Gentleman's Best After Shave splash

I was finally able to get a great lather with the soap. I like the texture and will certainly add soaps to my daily routine.

Southington CT is a wonderful small little town that has been around since the Revolutionary War. Very hospitable folks.

Here is a pick of the Church Steeple in the center of town and my SOTD.
    Hi Jeff,
You gotta love those little towns . They have charm and personality. Looks like you guys are having fun. Great SOTD

It was fun to get back to using a straight...a very good shave with the Lunawerk and the wool fat lather. I used a little more left hand to go ATG but still can feel stubble on my neck when I go against the grain. Slowly but surely...

A VERY artistic post today Batmang. I love it! Congratulations chief.
