    Default Tuesday morning

    Pre: Hot shower
    Razor: SSA
    Brush: New Forest silvertip
    Soap: Tabac
    AS: Alt Innsbruck
    Strop: Neil Miller
    Result: Very clean
Second go with the NF brush and either I´m off re lathering (again) or it´s still breaking in. I got an ok lather, but it was nothing special. I blame myself for now, becuase I _know_ the NF brushes are da tits.

    Muhle w/ Feather | Semogue 830 | C&E Nomad + Trumpers Sandalwood + Glycerin | Thayer's Lavender | CarrieM AS Milk | Habit Rouge

My first attempt to lather with a boar brush; I'm impressed. From the moment it touched the Nomad, I knew it was different. This brush had huge amounts of protolather jumping out of the bowl within two swirls. The uberlather was equally impressive this morning and it took much less time to build. The shave was nice and smooth, but I'm missing my straights. I may just have to give it a go tomorrow!

Great SOTD's shown this week already. You guys inspire me each morning to strive for a better display of how wonderful my morning starts. Thanks!

    Default SOTD 10-19-2010

    Prep: Hot Shower
Strop: SRD Paddle 25 coarse leather, 50 premium 1 leather
Soap: SRD Opus X (If you haven't tried this, you are missing out)
    Brush: AOS Purs Badger
    Razor: Dovo Best Quality
After Shave: Alum Block, Nivia for men ASB, Ogallala Bayrum Limes & Peppercorns
Result: A nice shave this morning. The scent of the opus X is tremendous. It lathers very nicely and the scent reminds me of warm nights spent in a carribean resort. The Dovo always performs nicely.

The SOTD's are looking great this week gentlemen, keep them coming! Thanks for making each day's SOTD something to look forward to.

Have a great day, you deserve it!

I totally agree with you about Opus X.
When I first tried it I kept going back and forth on loving it and hating it,
but in the end the scent grew on me and I love it.

It goes great in a uberlather with sandalwood.
