    Good afternoon, friends

today I have no new items in my equipment, only the Feather i put into the picture.

    soap: Proraso
    brush: Muehle
    razor: Revisor+ Feather DE
    AS: Brut

Brut is hard stuff with a lot of alcohol. No! I don't drunk it. It burns like hell.

I think I'll test it tomorrow again.

Thanks! I have you and Matt to thank for turning me onto Tabac. This was my second round with it and it truly is amazing. Cheers!

    Nice shot Tom

Question: That mirror-like reflection: is that a table that you use or do it in photoshop or is it a light box of some sort that you took with you to FL? The only reason I ask is because I couldn't help but notice that this shot looks similar to the ones you had when in Germany. I like the method ...whatever it is.

Hope you are having extra fun in FL and the rain has stopped and weather cooperating

    Brush: 25mm Vestavia Silvertip Badger
Überlather: Pré de Provence Shave Creme + Pré de Provence Shave Soap + Glycerin
Astringent: Thayer's Witch hazel (Rose Petal, no alcohol)
    Moisturizer: Trumper's Fragrance-Free Moisturizer
    Cologne: Penhaligon Quercus
Result: This Shea Butter-based Pré de Provence überlather has an amazing scent. Ummmmmm...It is truly intoxicating. And what a slick, moist lather...deliverance is finally at hand. I would be perfectly content spending 30 minutes lathering this slick, thick creme into my face without even touching the blade. It is that good !!! After loading the 39C slant with a Feather blade, I took it for a ride on my face. Fabulous treat as the razor and blade did not disappoint. BBS shave in the 3 usual passes. After the shave and warm/cold water rinse, the residual scent of the Pré de Provence still saturated and titillated my senses...and it seems, the rest of the den as well as evidenced by my wife's positive affirmation when she walked in (Now, there's something else I will have to hide from her prying eyes ). Nonetheless, I finished this "Zen" shave with a little Trumper's moisturizer and Penhaligon's Quercus and...."Heigh-Ho, Heigh-Ho, it's off to work we go". Oh, but wait...I forgot that I am working from home today.

Great SOTDs guys. Have a Fabulous Thursday gentlemen .
Great SOTD Robert. The photo is very nicely balanced, this would look great hanging on the wall in the shave den! (I still say we need a 365 day SOTD calendar).

I could be done in one pass with the H. Diamond and be more than presentable, but it's just so much fun to use, I do five or six... Quite amazing!

    Hot shower,
    Warm Oil
    DB Scuttle
    Castle Forbes Cream
    New Forest Badger
    Felt/Leather Strop
Red Imp 133, NOS First Use
    Thayers
    Vaseline for men

This Imp I purchased as NOS, never used. Came in the original plastic and wrapped inside wax paper.
I took everyone's advice and did not hone this razor myself. I stropped it to death as advised, 100 laps felt and leather. I was impressed with the shave but it was harsh. It cut the whiskers easy enough and did not pull, but I think it needs to be refined a bit.

I am off tomorrow and decided to have a wee bit of Scotch tonight alongside a small amount of my favorite Penn State Ice Cream. I'm going to have to make a run to see my daughter as I am running low on the Ice Cream. What a fabulous combination.

    Have a great evening.

It is metallized film, you get everywhere.
At home I use laminated film.

And of course... I prepared some pictures with the vacation equipment at home.
But such metallized film and black film I have everytime in my photo-bag.

A real mirror don't brings such effect.
Not for all special effects you need Photoshop.
    Thanks for quoting, Robert.
BTW this night we'll get some T-storms, but tomorrow we have a sunny day
