That's the ticket, way to keep that positive attitude...I love it

Just a note of thanks to all veteran's who have served us, especially those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. The B-17G in the picture is in honor of the 26,000 members of the 8th Air Force who gave their lives over the skies of Europe in 1943-44.
    Excellent tribute!

    Default A tribute to Veterans

This is a link to a video tribute I put together from my trip to Normandy a few years ago. I thought it fitting with today being veteran's day. Thanks to all that have served

I usually keeps thoughts like these to myself, but I felt they were appropriate.
Thanks for the touching tribute. I have a friend, who is an Omaha Beach Veteran. He was a member of the first wave of troops who went ashore. He is very old these days but always makes it to the local VFW hall for the Veterans day ceremony.
He always attends in his uniform. He wears it with such pride. I've sat with him on many occasions when he spoke about the first several weeks of the invasion of Europe. He always gets watery eyes but continues to tell the story about his unit and his friends who never made it home.

I've never met a nicer gentleman and I know I/we am going to loose him some day as he is getting on in years. What a great person he is.

When I look at your tribute, I can hear his words describing the first day of the invasion. We are slowly loosing a great generation of Americans.

Thanks again and god speed to all who serve this great country of ours.
