Thank you Bill! The 830 needs to break in. Mine did not bloom. Stayed together the whole time. Hows yours?

    Jeff,
I think everything about your shaving experience today was captured in your shot and the first 2 sentences in your description . Excellent blade & SOTD. Thanks for sharing

Beautiful C-Mon Rene. They are excellent shavers. And if Max and edge to it, you know it'll be an edge to remember

As for the 830: I don't have one so take what I have to say with a grain of salt, but it seems like boar brushes take a few runs before they break in and bloom. One thing that may help is giving it a wash in warm "distilled water + baking Soda" and leave it there for ~5-10 minutes with occasional stirring. It may soften up the hairs a bit.

Veterans day- a tribute to the heroes.
On the way from Kissimmee to Ft. Myers we had a break in Lakeland.
The Harley dealer presented this beautiful Harley used in WW II.
Nice talks with the dealer and some Harley-riders.

And now a good shave with good stuff

    soap: Proraso
    brush: Muehle
    razor: Feather DE+ Revisor
    AS: Brut

    Have a nice evening, friends!

Thank you Robert. I will keep working at the brush. It could have been the soap too.

It doesn't "bloom" with the soap, but afterwards when it's dry it's bloomed out quite a bit...

I think i used the wrong description. When i load the brush it kind clumped together instead of filling with lather. Still first use so im not worried.
