Thankyou. No slurry yet. I've only used this Thuri twice so its still in the experimentation stage, But very happy with the results so far.

    Default TGIF Shave!

Semogue 830| Provence Sante | Boker Edelweiss | Alum | Institut Karite ASB | Pinaud Clubman

I couldn't help myself and had to touch up the Boker on the new Coti last night. I got an extremely close, but semi uncomfortable shave this morning. Not a bad shave, but not the best. I could have been a little too eager. The saving grace was the incredible lather I got out of the Provence Sante soap this morning. I had moved this soap to the back of my rotation, but I'm not sure why. It may not be the slickest, thickest lather, but the Provence Sante lather never, ever drys out on my face and that is always a good thing.

    That's very kindly, thank you!
The problem is-> we have a lot of friends in CA;FL;VA
In 2008 we were in Lynchburg, Gettysburg,Niagara Falls, Woodstock and Washington DC
The States have such a lot of beautiful places e.g. the N.P.
We can't travel 6 months each year (but it would be nice!)

Thanks again for your friendly invitation. The time will be coming.

And....Happy birthday, Jeff! All the best for you!

Default Friday late post from early shave

    Prep:Hot Shower
    Brush:TGN Custom Silvertip
Strop: SRD Premium IV English Bridle
    Scuttle: SRD
Uberlather: Tabac Soap, Tabac cream, 5 drops glycerin
Razor: Kobar “Souvenir of Bremerhaven” “Friday”
    After shave: C.O. Bigelow “Mentha”
    EDT: Cuba Red

Result: Sorry for the late post, I had to work a different shift today and it really messed up my whole routine. The Tabac Uberlather delivered as expected and the “Friday” Kobar delivered an amazingly close shave.

Have a great day gentlemen, you deserve it!

    NDC SuperSpeed | Feather | Arko | Semogue 830 | Thayer's Lavender | AOS Sandalwood Balm | Knize Sec

Very early day due to Army Reserves, so I decided the DE would be a nice change of pace (plus requires less morning eye-hand coordination). The Arko, despite being a smell I'm not overly fond of, delivered rich moist lather and I soon found myself on the business end of a BBS shave after two passes + clean up.

Everyone has really done a wonderful job with their SOTD contributions, it's been my great pleasure to enjoy every day! Thank you, gentlemen, and keep up the great shaves!
