    Warm Water Splash
    Conk's Amber
    Semogue #830 Boar
    H. Diamond 74 "For Barber's Use"
    SRD Premium I Strop ... 30 Linen/65 Leather
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Nivea AS Balm
    Spanish Floďd Suave AS

The Conk's Amber is definitely my favorite flavor, and it always works well fo me... And a surprise package from Belgium made it a great day!

Here I am singin' the blues all over the internet that everyone else has their Coticules, and I have none! Then, Santa in the blue suit, (The Postman, who never rings twice... Hell, he never even rings once... He sit's in his truck on the road and honks until I come out, but today, all is forgiven ) brings a mystery box from Belgium.. Open it up, with hands all ashake, and find a 175 x 50mm select La Veinette natural combo stone!

No more cryin' outta' me!! Until next time....

Oooohhhh Bill...That is a nice piece of stone . I have a "La Veinette" select and I love it. It is a real good finisher.

Congrats on the Coti. Friday is always a good time to get stoned.

Today is my actual Birthday. Thanks for all the well wishes when I posted my SOTD with my early Birthday gift from Max. I am having a great day: The weather is gorgeous. I started the day with coffee with my close friend Arthur. After discovering that he has never had a str8 razor shave, and I do mean EVER, I felt compelled and went and made two appointments for a Str8 shave at a local place. I then went for a ride which ended at a restaurant for lunch. After a great lunch, I returned home and had a wonderful shower and shave.
I put this SOTD picture together for the following 2 reasons in mind. I miss my girls and to give you the opportunity to see my ugly mug.
I think we should look to the future, pick a centrally located place and meet for a SOTD convention. I know I would jump at the chance to meet any and all of you.

    Anyway,
Hot shower w/Stephen's conditioning shave cream rubbed into my face.
    warm oil
Hannah made Ceramic bowl (Hannah is wearing the yellow hat in the pic.)
    Trumpers Coconut SC
    Custom Badger Brush
    SRD1strop, 25 felt 50 leather
Double Duck, 1/4 hollow Razor by MAX
    AOS Aluminum
    Osage Rub
    Vaseline for men

Yes, I needed a shave in this picture.

Happy birthday Jeff . Very nice of you to treat Arthur to a good shave. I wish I had friends like that.

...and it is always good to see your mug and I am sure your daughters miss you too.

It will be nice to meet some, if not all of the members here...I have had the opportunity to meet a couple and talk to countless others and consider myself lucky.

Thanks--It was a LE offered to all shaving forums towards the end of '07. It was the first Shavemac Silvertip offered with a 50mm loft ( I think, don't quote me on that ). Great brush!

PS: Just curious...where did you get this creme (if not available in the US)?

    Robert,

I got the Gillette shave cream at Shoebox Shave Shop, but you can also get it at Superlather.
