    Glenn,
Looks like you enjoyed face-lathering with this great soap .

The Kropp is a reliable workhorse, not the prettiest razor but a great shaver.

I think it's a great looking blade Grant and congrats on the honing success.

PS: are you guys almost done with Sydney yet and ready to go home? you must be close, I think.

    Rene,

I'd wondered that too - was it all in my head. This past week let me know it wasn't. There's one area immediately below the jawline to the right of my chin that I have trouble with using a straight, but that I've finally "licked". For the life of me, I couldn't get it with the Fusion no matter what I tried.

The other thing is how long the smooth lasts - with the Fusion it was maybe 2 hours at best (and I have light beard growth). With a straight it's well into the afternoon before I can feel anything.

    Greg,
It's great to see you doing well (regardless of hardware). Forget about the shave, you need to come back home fast before the tension between the south and north gets crazy. Referendum there is due Jan 9 and anything can happen between now and then.

Be safe buddy and it's great to hear from you

I didn't switch because I was getting terrible shaves, but because shaving with a straight is just plain cool!

Okay, I am now strung up and ready for my punishment.
    Fbones,

I didn't switch from safety razors because of getting crummy shaves either - it was more about getting tired of being ripped off buying disposable blades. Now look at how much money I've saved buying straights
