    Took the Frederick Reynolds to the BBW. The edge is fantastic and ultra smooth, providing a BBS and pleasant shave.

    I am liking the Oozuku a lot. The experience of honing with the nagura progression was very different than using my nakayamas. I got a very sharp, yet incredibly smooth edge from this method. I think I'm sold on it as a process; now I just have to see if I can reproduce my first lucky result...

    A bit of both, the edge did need a bit more work, but was useable. However the feeling, shortness, and sound was alot more of an issue. It has a very thin blade and it seems to wiggle around more than I like.
