Actually it has become a ritual. After my shave both the wife and Vivi are waiting to give me their seal of approval. It's hysterical because Vivi wants to sniff the cologne, followed by trying to lick it off and then she sneezes. Each and every time the same story. HA

RESULT: RELAXED.............................

All this talk of vetiver today made me want to break out my arsenal of Vetiver. This uberlather is awesome!! The smell lingers throughout the whole shave and after and it is slick, creamy,moisturizing,everything an uber should be. I rehoned the twinworks yesterday and now it is in the zone, popping hairs and mowing down my scruff with precision. The carven EDt is the topper and I smell fantastic( at least to those that love vetiver) to others i smell like the earth. But I wouldnt have it any other way

Very nice blades those! Do you think it shaves as good as good vintage one? I´ve been eye balling those TI:s (and the Canadian), but ... well, I feel I kind of only would buy if they´re really good. Arrrgg, RAD

I prefer the vintage, but the edges on these are fabulous. Easy to hone too (or maybe I got lucky). I liked the style of this blade.

I took it easy today and stopped at four passes. The Manaslu is one serious shaver, and for those that don't know, there were limited editions and are individually numbered on the tang. This iteration.. #1190.
My old friend froggy is neither surprised nor amazed... It turned cold here last night, and the pond was skimmed over. He's enjoying the warm SOTD setup, but it's back out to the pond tonite!!
