Excellent stones Glenn . Way to go on your honing adventure buddy
PS: Sorry about wife being sick but glad she is better
Tom,
I missed Yoda. Fantastic shot and HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to both you and Anett. May you have many more happy years together.
Great looking blade Mikael . From the sounds of it, she probably feels the need for a little TLC on the stones

Ambrose Cotton/Dovo XL Russian Leather/Ambrose Spanish Leather
Proraso White SS

Proraso AS Balm

Well I think I finally got this one dialed in. Much smoother than my first run with it. I now understand why people praise this razor. It's light, sharp, easy to strop/sharpen and looks amazing.
SHAVE ON!!

First, and most importantly... Happy Anniversary to Tom & Annet. Enjoy the day together!
Warm water splash
Williams Shave Soap
Semogue SOC Boar
W.H. Morley & Sons Clover Brand Square Point (a.k.a. Test Bed #2)
SRD Premium I Strop .. 70 Linen/70 Leather
Dickinson's Witch Hazel
Nivea AS Balm
Ivy Club Spice
An American Economy shave!
I dulled the Morley with three strokes across glass, and proceeded with the dilucot method on my coticule from start to finish. I had to return to the stone for more finish work twice, just a matter of getting to know the coticule. While it's still not the best in the corral, it's not too far off and much better than it was previously, and I did not require any help from the Naniwa 12K this time!
Today's pic features my wife's Dickens Village lit up in the background... She sets this up every Christmas. God bless her, I don't have either the patience or the inspiration!
Great photos everyone!
