It's been a while. This is actually the first shave of the New Year for me. It took a little getting into with such a big blade but once I got into it the Sheffield smoothness came. It's good to be clean again. Great job with the SOTD guys, always a great pleasure to view all the wonderful photos. I think its time for a littleIt is after all Friday night for me

FRIDAY MORNING SHAVE
PREP: Hot shower with face scrub
RAZOR: Adoration Hand Forged
BRUSH: Frank shaving brush in Finest
SOAP: Proraso
ASTRINGENT: Thayers unscented
ASB: CarrieMs unscented
EDT: Jean Paul Gaultier's "Le Male"
RESULTS: FANTASTIC EFFORTLESS SHAVE
This blade has been on my radar for quite some time, and I finally found one on ebay and scooped it up. After some polishing/cleaning I took her to the hones. It is no joke when people say these Adoratons are sharp. BUt this shave was incredibly sharp and smooth, after 1 pass I dint really need to do anything else, but decided to do a WTG for kicks. Also Proraso is a great inexpensive cream that just works under any conditions, its great stuff and the menthol was and added bonus for this morning. I also received my Jean Paul Gaultier in the mail the other day so what better day to use it then today.
GREAT PICS EVERYONE OF YOU GUYS A BIG "THANKS" FROM ME.
