Why coticule and BBW? ... There are not a logical answer, the synthetic are efficient as a well engineered stuff,....but those natural stones are not as easy to be explained as their features, once I started to know them I started to love them.

Thanked: 50I received my razors freshly honed today, had a hard time choosing which one to use, but decided to shave with one I hadn't shaved with before.
Razor: F. Herder Abrahams Sohn No. 20(Full hollow 6/8) with Bakelite scales
Preshave: Hot water splash and Lush Ambrosia
Soap: Tabac soap with Glycerine
Brush: The Body Shop Synthetic
Bowl: Big cheap bowl
Aftershave: Alum(no stinging) and De Vergulde Hand balm
Result: Awesome! Took off 5 days of growth.

The Scheön Burg is the third Japanese straight razor that I shaved with this week and she gave me a zero irritation and wonderfully smooth shave. I am all smiles.
