Wow, M W F!! I used a slightly damp/dryer brush today, loaded longer and worked it in longer than usual. What a lather explosion, fingers crossed I don´t get pimples (MWF does that sometimes for me )

Thanked: 1072Location: Coffs Harbour AustraliaHope you all get shaves like this today
Strop: Illinois 835
Uber-Lather: Wahl Barbers Cream, Comoy Sandalwood Soap + Glycerine
Brush: FS Finest Badger
Razor: Invicta Coronett 6/8
Astringent: Dickinson's witch Hazel
A/S Balm: Nivea replenishing post Shave
A/S: Wahl Bay Rum
Its been a while since I made an Uber-Lather so I decided to treat myself tonight. It was my first Uber with this brush and with this combination of ingredients. Worked well though, nice thick bowl of lather.
The razor is fantastically sharp and smooth too. One of those effortless shaves.

Thanked: 1072Jack is doing well boys, his hair is growing back nicely now and he's been feeling good. Here he is tonight making me proud.
Dont worry, its not a real razor, its the offcut from a custom wooden box I made recently.

02-07-2011, 11:18 AM #56Le Grelot | Ever Ready w/ TGN ST-A | Fitjar | Thayers Rose | Knize Ten Golden Edition
This was my first time using the Fitjar creams. I was a bit apprehensive at first because the scent was, as some have described it, truly that of smoke. But, as the lather began to explode into some of the best I've experienced, the smell wafted around me and became somewhat addictive. The Le Grelot then did its dance in the creamy Fitjar and left me with a face that was BBS smooth.
Great way to start the week! Good to see everyone's incredible shaves and gear already. Thank you, gentlemen!

Making good on the NY Resolution (posting in the SOTD) good for you! Nice setup, hope to see many more from you!
Cheers!
Grant, I'm SOOOO Glad to see and hear that Jack is doing so well! Thanks for starting my day with a huge smile!
Bill, Nice blade! I love the fireplace bellows in the background, my parents had some just like that, eagle and all, when I was a small child and I have fond memories of chasing the dog with puffs of air. Thanks for bringing back such a fond memory.
