VALENTINE'S DAY SHAVE

Pre-Shave: Hot shower

Brush: 24mm Custom, 2-band Shavemac D01 Silvertip Badger

Razor: 13/16" Frederick Reynolds, Wedge, Barber's Notch, Red G10 (Restored by Max)

Strop: 5/10 (Torolf linen/Premium IV leather)

Überlather: NancyBoy "Replenishing" Shave Creme + Trumper's "Rose" Shave Soap + Gycerin

Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel (Rose Petal, no alcohol)

Moisturizer: D.R. Harris After Shave Milk

After Shave Splash: D.R. Harris "Pink" After Shave Splash

Cologne: Creed Green Irish Tweed EdC

Results: Since it is Valentine's day, the theme is red...So, out comes the Frederick Reynolds in Red G10, the second in the line up of seven razors that Max restored for me . This animal suffered from the BSS ("Broken Scales Syndrome") in transit from Lynn to me some months ago. My wife was happy about this tragic incident as she "disliked" the original scales that she came in. Max: I can safely say that my wife is in love with the Red G10 scales (she sends you her many thanks and of course, hugs). She's happy, I'm happier . This "Maxterpiece" gave one heck of a close shave. BBS and smooth, all the way to the bank.

My wife asked that I post this picture (her favorite, not mine though...but, since she's the boss, she gets to call it ). It depicts the normal shave gear described + a Valentine's gift (2 Teddy Bears kissing) I gave my wife 2 days after our first meeting on February 2nd, 6 years ago.

Great shave this morning, first time using my Thater and its a joy to use, super soft tips with enough backbone to handle any job. Touched up the C-MON and it was ready to do business , super smooth after 2 passes. Finished up with an ATG and I am ready for this Valentines day with the better half. HAVE A GREAT DAY EVERYBODY !!!!
