Tomorrow I am taking my daughter and her friend to American Girl Doll store. Where the BLEEDING of my wallet will begin. Its her birthday present. My friend and his family minus his son will join us. Thank you Mark...unfortunately, I have not yet tried an SE...I jumped from the DE straight into the straight. But, I am thinking that maybe I might have missed something in the process.

    Glenn,
Have a safe trip back home. You've been working too hard lately. You deserve a nice relaxing weekend with family. Be safe.

It is raining and windy today.
    Otto,
Always nice gears for an awesome shave.

PS: It's pretty much the same weather here too...rainy, windy and cooold (well, by LA standards)

Rain or shine, you always shine my friend. So do your shaves. Beautiful LIVI (what does the ATS stand for?)

BTW: MdC is a fabulous soap...How do you like the ASB and EdT? I found their shampoo to be less than interesting.

Excellent Mikael. That Ever Ready looks similar to one Mark (aka, Blugill) has, except that his is gold washed (I think).

Beautiful W&B...being spoiled is one of the positive great side effects of this sport.

Not sure if there's a cure or any first aid kits for wallet drain, LOL...these store (if they're anything like "build a bear" types) tend to be money vacuum cleaners.

As I suggested months ago, we should all move where José lives, LOL. The pictures and scenery are fabulous. It's not just SOTD, it's zen mode relaxation to the n-th degree. Well done my friend and thank you.

    Rene,

Have fun. My daughter requested going to the American Girl Doll Store for her birthday 2 years ago. As SWMBO doesn't like to drive to Atlanta alone, my son & I were forced to go. After 2 minutes, my son & I decided that there were entirely too many excited little girls in that store. It was elbow to elbow in there!

Fortunately for my son & me, there was a Victoria's Secret in the same mall - hey, it doesn't hurt to check out the models on the store posters does it???

Thanks for the kind words buddy
I'm afraid I left out the latter part of the steels name, so no wonder you were curious About that one!
ATS 34 is what I meant to write, a stainless steel variant.

The MdC EdT was wonderful, lovely lavender scent. The Copra oil was very nice after the shave as well.
I wrote a little bit about it in the Aftershaves/preshaves subforum.
I'm on my mobile device right now, but I'll link to it in this post when I get back on my computer

Post Week of April 3 SOTD - Friday

    Pre-Shave: Hot shower
Brush: 24mm Morris & Forndran Blonde Badger
Razor: 7/8" Filarmonica Doble Temple #13, Full Hollow Ground, Spike Point
Strop: 45/50 (Neil Miller linen/Premium IV leather)
Überlather: L'Occitane "Cade" Shave Creme + L'Occitane "Cade" Shave Soap + Glycerin
Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel (Rose Petal, no alcohol)
    Moisturizer: Trumper's Fragrance-free Moisturizer
After Shave Splash: Floïd Italian Blue
After Shave Balm: L'Occitane "Cade" ASB
Results: As this crowd already knows, Filarmonicas are phenomenal shavers and this DT13 is no exception. Coupled with the L'Occitane "Cade" SS/SC, she delivered one of the best shaves one can hope for. My face is super BBS with absolutely zero irritation. I am ready for a lazy Friday at work.

    ******************************

Sorry for the recycled photo, but no time for a new picture today (even though it's a lazy Friday).

    Have a PRODUCTIVE Friday gentlemen.

Thank you, but I donīt think these small blades are for me, Iīll try a couple of more times, again, though. Yeah, well, Iīm a modest man, silver is enough for me . Itīs a british Ever Ready though, maybe thatīs the difference?
