Thanks! No, I did not make the scuttle, I got it off E-bay a while back. It's made in England and called a "Lord Nelson Scuttle" (The manufacturer I guess) They come available on the bay every now and then.
It comes in a couple of colors.

IT PUTS THE LOTION ON ITS SKIN OR IT GETS THE HOSE AGAIN!!! Yeah the MM OC is a fickle beast, almost bipolar. With fresh blade it can either be the greatest shave ever or an absolute fillet knife. This razor was my very first real razor when the traditional wetshaving revival began four years or so ago. I think the whole bipolar thing has alot to do with alot of the none too flattering reviews the MMOC often receives. In fact, this many years later, even though in my heart of hearts I love this razor there are still days (and shaves) where I'll pick it up and do exactly what I've always done with it and end up with a face shredder and then wonder, "What was that all about!" I dunno, Dude, I guess you were just due for a good neck shredding. I can say I've never shredded my face with a 1912 though.

Yes Sir Robert, with all the fine razors you've got in your collection, you my friend should add to it a vintage Single Edge Razor ! a Straight with a new type handle is what I'm calling it. It will never take the place of a straight, but then again, it adds to the fun of shaving ! BTW a Beautiful repeat performance on your SOTD Buddy ! Have a great weekend.

I hear ya GI, actually, I love this razor and I have always gotten great shaves and enjoyed using it but....I must have had my head up my ...well you know...this morning so I will have to blame it all on operator error. LOL I definitely got a good dose of humility out of it, that's for sure! LOL

Nice setup. What does the SSA mean? I have a razor with the same markings.

After 2 minutes, my son & I decided that there were entirely too many excited little girls in that store. It was elbow to elbow in there!

Fortunately for my son & me, there was a Victoria's Secret in the same mall - hey, it doesn't hurt to check out the models on the store posters does it???
Thank you. Yea im scared to go. I was nice to my son and planned for him to say behind at a friends house. Im jealous of my son. LOL!!!! It will be fun.

A quick 2 passes and out this morning. Not great but not bad either!
Me thinks a good excuse for a tidy up shave later?
