Razor: Wade & Butcher "The Celebrated Hollow Ground" 15/16
    Pre-shave:Noxzema
    Brush: Unknown boar
    Soap: VDH Deluxe
AS: Thayers lavender and English Leather
Result: I had been looking for a W & B for a while but didn"t want to spend $50 or more on one on Ebay that was covered in rust with broken scales. Luckily on Tuesday I found my W & B at a local antique mall for $14. This blade was all origional with very little tarnish and little , even hone wear. i went ahead and honed it up and skipped shaving yesterday so hat I could have a good two day growth to shave off. All I've got to say is that his razor lives up to all he hype I've heard. Nearly 1 pass BBS. I ended up doing 2 passes just because the shave was so wonderful.

You're a Chef in my book buddy. I am sure in no time, they will bestow that title to reflect this fact. Congrats. Enjoy the work. Glad to hear about Jacky. Give him a BIIIIIIIIG hug from my nephews/niece/wife and I.

    Theseus,
All I can say is: You lucky Dawg!!! Congrats. These things are extremely hard to find in tip top condition. Ones that are for sale are either too $$$$ or have tarnish that goes beyond repair. I am still looking for my holy grail W&B

Today I finished my 2nd set of Scales.
I had a King Cutter blade in almost new condition (except that the gold washed logo had been erased ). I made some steampunk styled scales from lace wood and copper. I etchted the copper with the King Cutter logo that the blade was missing on one side and the Tree Brand logo (along with a barber pole and the German Weimar eagle) on the other.

    She shaved like a dream!

RAZOR: Dubl Duck Wonderedge 5/8 Roundpoint
    BRUSH: PJ3
    CREAM: Proraso
    ASTRINGENT: Thayers Unscented
    ASB: Skinfood Sandalwood
    EDT: Thierry Muglar " Angel"
    RESULTS: WONDERFULL!!!!!

I got this razor a couple days ago, and having tried a goldedge and satinedge, and even another wonderedge this razor definitely takes the cake. Normally Im not a fan of roundpoints ( I like my spikepoints)but I can make an exception with this blade. gave me a buttery smooth shave, with almost 1 pass. Used my Proraso for a menthol pick me up.
    Epic Shave today
