Amazing shaves today, Men! This is my first shave with this Wostenholm razor since restoring and my first with this type of frameback. The tang is so thin and it is very light. Strange experience for a 6/8 blade with a smiling edge! It took all of 1 pass to love it! Like shaving with a feather! Shure miss old Blugill. I really like 1oldGI's coining of CBS (catfish belly smooth) Yes! Thats it! A CBS shave!

Thanks Jeff. It's a Ruger New Vaquero Single action in .357 Magnum with a 5.5 inch barrel.

In regards to hammered tangs, I know Charlie Lewis (Spazola) does them and I'm fairly certain that Bob Allman (OCD Razors) has done them as well.

Thanks Jeff. You're seeing the backside of the tang in the photo.
The hammered tang only extends about halfway down the tang on the front of the razor. The remainder is smooth with the "HF" stamp.
