A great shave and a wonderful start to a busy weekend and a week of vacation.

I'm preparing for the meet-up in Oslo today.

Brush: H.L.Thäter 26mm Silver tip

Razor: Juan Vollmer, Palmera #14

Strop: Kanayama #90000, tri strop

Soap/Cream: Czech & Speake No. 88, shaving soap

Scuttle:Schwarzweisskeramik, Large White

Astringent: Thayer's medicated Superhazel

After shave Balm: Truefitt & Hill Classic, scentless

EdT: Czech & Speake No. 88

Results: Spanish steel delivers. This my very first Palmera is no exception. Ever since I bought this 15 months ago, it has been one of my very best performing razors. I did 2 passes on the head, then 2 on my face. No worries with this shaving equivalent of a Ferrari. The C&S products are really nice, thanks Robert for the recommendation

Razor: Gong, extra hollow (feels and looks more like an ordinary hollow, to me)
Super lather: Nannys Ice and a Slice + ARKO cream
AS: Williams Aqua Velva
Strop: Neil Miller
Result: Very, very clean
Well, I got some lovely lather today. I never super lather with Nannys, don't see the need for it, but this London water sure eats soap/cream like mad - I loaded twice as much product (actually more with Nannys + almond size dot with ARKO) and got some really nice and chunky lather. Enough for 2 1/2 passes for me and one pass for our boy

Sorry for my lack of participation over the last couple of days boys. I've been feeling pretty down and a little anti-social.
We found out a 3 year old boy named Zac who we new from Sydney Children's Hospital lost his battle with cancer and its effected me a lot. This is the 6th family we know personally from down there who have lost a child to this crap.
Sorry to rant, no shave for me tonight. Took a nice photo of my W&B today in preparation for tomorrow nights shave.

Sorry to hear that. Its a nasty thing. To loose a child to it is a nightmare.
