    Amund,
beautiful shot buddy. Love the electric guitar as a bakdrop. Well done. What is CBN?? Sounds like a very nice honing regimen. Congrats on pushing the envelope of honing. I am surprised that the edge on that Friodur already needs touching up though.

A fine edge was put on it by him as well. Stu knows his way around the hones!! Paired with the great Martin de Candre products, it's hard to ask for any more in a shave
    Birnando,
That Spartacus is a very nice loaner. These TIs (I have the Eagle version) are very very nice and smooth shavers. Gotta get you some for sure.

    Soap??
Great choice of razor Rene...The soap is RazoRock's Lt Ed soap. Great stuff indeed. Work her up a bit more. Sounds like you have more room.

    Wowww Nic,
1 year and never touched up. That must have been a heck of an edge. She's a beauty too. Congrats on a very nice gift and Kudos to Ben.

Yup the DB 1.5 is the perfect size for me. Lord the 2 might just scare the hell out of SWMBO! She laughed at it when she saw the size. Asked if we needed a larger bathroom as I (her words) have more stuff in there then she does! I quickly countered with the closet/shoe collection and she got very quiet!!!!!
I have to say that I was surprised at the performance of the AK. I purposely did not shave today B4 going into work to see how close/well the shave really was. I will never be BBS after a full day with my heavy beard growth but even now it's not bad! Maybe a 6 hour post disposable shadow. Thanks again Robert for giving me reason to spend more $$ on my SSAD!

    Default Saturday

    Good Morning gentlemen,
Great posts yesterday, really enjoyed looking at them. It's clear that I'm going to have to get some more Razors!
    Todays Shave,
    Prep: Shower and face wash
Strop: My usual SRD 50, 100.
Brush, TOBS Best Badger, nice brush, but hogs the lather.
Soap: Proraso, empty tub in the picture, I keep it in one of two porcelain pots, (Cella in the other one)
Razor: Dovo Master's, Grenadille scales, I've been lazy, just leaving it in the bathroom, (quite safe, I live alone, no danger of corrosion, it's currently 40˚+ in there.
    AS: Alume Di Roca Naturale
    EDT: Chopard Noble Vetiver

I wish everyone a great weekend, and look forward to your SOTD Pictures.

Not a mug or scuttle Robert; I ran out of places to put soap so I grabbed the spoon rest out of the kitchen. Now I think I might need a couple more as they make very nice soap dishes. After I load my brush with soap the spout lets me pour off the water into my mug... quite convenient for a $4 piece of pottery.

Thank you Robert. CBN is Cubic Boron Nitride Ken's Corner
The Friodur didn't need touching up, but it was a good candidate for this stuff
