I wouldn't even dare to question her T. That creme is equally wonderful. It's amazing something this luxurious can result from something that cheap

Ok so it's the smallest blade in my stable... But it's interesting how much feedback it gives. Robert I know I told you I was "going big today" so here ya go!!!
No worries Paul...sometimes, we need to spare some love for the little ones, ;-). Some of them can hold their own tête-à-tête with their bigger cousins

Congrats on getting the better half on board. Great shave too. Love the combination BayRum/Sandalwood

    Wowww Rune,
You didn't waste any time jumping both feet in the deep end of the pool. Gutsy move, but I really like it. My kinda guy. Best way to test your commitments, really.

That is a gorgeous vintage and rare piece. Nice collector's item. Congrats on the wonderfully enjoyable night shave too.

August 4, 2011 is the day that marks only the beginning of the rest of your straight shaving journey...the past was just the preparation to today

    Well done my friend

Wonderfully done Rum...You make that moisturizer sound out-of-this-world and I bet you're right. Can it be used in the day time too?

I agree with you 100%. The Godrej is quickly becoming my favorite cream/soap. I'm sure there are better creams out there, but for the price, very little could beat it.

Of the four attemps at using a straight razor of the four razors iv'e tried I would say this one would be the best shaver so far, if I were to switch to a straight blade I would try to get a modern or custom made 4/8 blade I like the control and preciseness this blade offered up, nice shave, still not convinced about straight razors, but I dont give up easy, will return, I still think they look fantastic though. I will also continue to restore vintage razors, as with this one you do get a certain pride in using a razor you have brought back from the scrap yard so to speak.

Glad you had a great birthday! Tabac is awesome I don't even need glycerin with it.

Lovely razor Jamie, who's honed your blades, your Kropp should be a top notch shaver too. It may be just that its a 4/8 blade, when I started out I found it easier somehow to get the right blade angle with a smaller blade, and that goes a long way towards the feel of sharp!
