I wouldn't even dare to question her T. That creme is equally wonderful. It's amazing something this luxurious can result from something that cheap
No worries Paul...sometimes, we need to spare some love for the little ones, ;-). Some of them can hold their own tête-à-tête with their bigger cousins
Congrats on getting the better half on board. Great shave too. Love the combination BayRum/Sandalwood
Wowww Rune,
You didn't waste any time jumping both feet in the deep end of the pool. Gutsy move, but I really like it. My kinda guy. Best way to test your commitments, really.
Birnando,
That is a gorgeous vintage and rare piece. Nice collector's item. Congrats on the wonderfully enjoyable night shave too.
AC,
That was a very nice story and a great read. Goes to tell you that one never knows the exact time when things will finally click...Never give up. Thanks for sharing and a heartfelt congratulations go to you for achieving that nirvana which you've been seeking all these years. It is finally here. August 4, 2011 is the day that marks only the beginning of the rest of your straight shaving journey...the past was just the preparation to today
Well done my friend
Jeff,
As the famous saying goes (modified): Once you go Max, you never go...well, I don't know what rhymes with the rest of this sentence, but you get the idea, LOOOOL. Beautiful Dreadnaught buddy
Beautiful frameback Chris. I also LOOOOOVE that pocket watch. I used to collect them.
Wonderfully done Rum...You make that moisturizer sound out-of-this-world and I bet you're right. Can it be used in the day time too?
Mike,
You are one smoooooth operator buddy. Crossing my fingers for a post shave celebration with the better half, LOOOOOL.
Great shave too and +1 on Tabac...One of the greatest soaps ever
As far as the alien: I see Youuuuu, LOOOOL. Now, we have 3. You with this alien, Mikael with his salamander and Tom with his Yoda...all being supervised!!!

Of the four attemps at using a straight razor of the four razors iv'e tried I would say this one would be the best shaver so far, if I were to switch to a straight blade I would try to get a modern or custom made 4/8 blade I like the control and preciseness this blade offered up, nice shave, still not convinced about straight razors, but I dont give up easy, will return, I still think they look fantastic though. I will also continue to restore vintage razors, as with this one you do get a certain pride in using a razor you have brought back from the scrap yard so to speak.

Glad you had a great birthday! Tabac is awesome I don't even need glycerin with it.
Great pic Konstantinos, but I'm jealous of that Swedish steal
Lovely razor Jamie, who's honed your blades, your Kropp should be a top notch shaver too. It may be just that its a 4/8 blade, when I started out I found it easier somehow to get the right blade angle with a smaller blade, and that goes a long way towards the feel of sharp!Regards
