Prep: Hot Water Wash, Baby Oil Gel
Razor: T Noonan and Sons Arabic
    Brush: Omega Boar
    Soap: VDH Deluxe
    AS: Dickinson's Witch Hazel
Finish: Brute Cologne, Firehouse Wacky Tacky

Did you ever have a Sunday shave that was so darned good that come Monday morning there was nothing to shave? I could have been more than presentable if I'd stopped at the hot water wash. Could have been CBS with just a spot touch up. But you know, I've never been known for moderation and anything worth doing is worth ridiculously over doing so naturally this was a two pass shave, naturally, Catfish Belly Smooth Claude Monet is now apparently working for Blue Moon and kindly offered to paint my SOTD pic. Enjoy and have a great Monday, fellas.

Precisely what I was thinking, I did however pass through England once when the weather was actually quite nice. When I came back through a couple months later, I was reminded that it was all just a fluke and the more predictable British weather had returned.

Sorry to hear about the nick, love that photo.

LOTS of fantastic posts already this week boys, and some absolutely stunning razors.

    Prep: Hot Shower/Hot Towel
    Strop: Osgar Vintage Shell Horse
    Brush: Comoy Badger
    Soap: MWF
    Razor: Mutant #3 the Darkness
    Toner: Thayer's Cucumber Witch Hazel
    Balm: Nivea Replenishing
    A/S: Wahl Bay Rum
A great shave tonight. As Rene says, sticky smooth after 3 passes.
This razor is not for beginners, that tip is unforgiving and needs careful attention especially when passing the ear going down that sideburn area.
Picked up this new shaving bowl at a garage sale over the weekend for $1. Not that I need more, but I like it.
Thanks for all the posts and pics gentlemen

PREP: Hot shower with conditioner in beard
    BRUSH: Semogue 2010 LE #66
UBERLATHER: SRD Bulgarian Rose Otto + Cyril Salter Rose + Glycerin
    RAZOR: Ern ATOR
    STROP: Kanayama Cordovan
    TONER: Thayers Lavender
    COLOGNE: Santal Noble
RESULT: A shave to remember. I know it's blasphemy to adulterate the SRD BRO soap, but I got a sample of the CRS Rose cream and just couldn't help myself. The result, as you can imagine, was nothing short of spectacular! I had a lather that smelled divine and that was so rich and creamy I couldn't hardly believe it. The ATOR swept through that billowy cloud of moisturizing goodness with a deft ease. In two passes plus touch ups, I was left with a sticky smooth CBS! I think I'm ready for round two of interviews with one of the firms today!
