    Finally, it is Friday!!

    Pre-Shave: Shower
    Brush: Plisson HMW #16
    Razor:Friedrich W. Engels, Special
Honing Regimen: Touched it up on a Norton Barber Hone.
Strop: Kanayama #90000, tri strop. 40/30/50
    Soap/Cream: Czech & Speake, No 88
    Scuttle:Schwarzweisskeramik, Large White
    Astringent: Osma Alum
After shave Balm: Truefitt & Hill Classic ASB, scentless
EdT: Czech & Speake, No 88
Results: A very decent Friday shave. The razor was sharp and smooth after a wee touch up on my Norton Barber hone. It is a small blade, but capable all the same. The No 88 is turning in to a favorite of mine. Great scent, solid performance

    EA,
Are those the new scales for the Wacker? If so, very nicely done buddy. They fit her nicely. Congrats.

Off this Sunday for a month's holiday back home, after two very hard and literally awful years here.
    Konstantinos,
Sorry to hear about the troubles with management. Sounds like the typical, incompetent idiots that exist in most companies...Forget about them. Congratulations on sticking to the principles of it. Great "liberation" shave. Enjoy your month off at home (hope to still see some SOTDs) and the start of your new life in South Korea.

    Mikael,
See? You do have a "Special" blade. You don't really need mine, LOOOOOOOL. In all seriousness, this is a beautiful TI.

This shave was just OK. The edge on the razor seemed a tad muddy. While it wasn't a bad shave by any stretch it just wasn't all that great either. At any rate, I'm once again presentable for public display and off to be a happy idiot and struggle for the legal tender. Happy Friday, Brothers
Sorry about the edge on this beauty not being quite there, but I am sure she will be ready next time around. Enjoy being displayed in public and have fun struggling for that greenback

Post Week of August 21 SOTD - Friday

    Pre-Shave: Hot shower
    Brush: 23mm Shavemac Silvertip Badger
Razor: 6/8" C.V. Heljestrand "Royal Kindall", Full Hollow Ground, Round Point (w/ Faux Ivory Scales)
Honing Regimen: Chosera 5k, 10k followed by Maruichi Nakayama Asagi (w/ Tomonagura slurry, ending with water only)
Strop: 0/0/0 (Neil Miller Linen / Imperial Horsehide leather / Imperial Cordovan leather)
Überlather: Jack Black "Macademia/Soy" Shave Creme + Czech & Speake №88 Shave Soap + Glycerin
Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel (Rose, no alcohol)
    Moisturizer: Trumper's Fragrance-free Moisturizer
After Shave Splash: Floïd Italian Blue AS
    Cologne: Penhaligon "Racquets" EdT
Results: Today's shave really hit the spot. I hadn't used this Royal Kindall in quite a long time, so I took her back for a spin around the stones late last night. She delivered a first class shave. The C&S 88 soap provided for a splendid lather with outstanding glide/cushion. Everyday should be this good.

Have a FANTASTIC Friday gentlemen .

    August 26st SOTD
Prep: hot shower and lingering lather
    Brush: Rooney Silvertip
    Soap: Fitjar Såpekokeri Fjellheim
Razor: Geo. Wolstenholm & Son “The Conqueror”
Post: Witch Hazel and a fuzzy SOTD pic

First shave in a week! The Conqueror” lived up to its name and made short work of my beard in two passes. Even found time to relieve our little cherry tree of its cherries, which will be brined on Monday then bathed in a booze syrup for 3 weeks.

Now off for a half day of work before a weekend of paddling the Quesnel and Caribou rivers!

    Enjoy the weekend Gents.

Sadly I've her since march and this is the first time I've gotten around to getting pic's up. Sorry G

I wanted something with a longer handle and when trying to figure out what design I remembered seeing a similarly shaped neck duster on one of the barber supply sites I had poked around on.

They are, thank you. I bought the scales, so just had to drill a hole and put the pin in, but I'm very happy with how it looks now.

    Friday evening shave:

    Shave prep: Face wash
    Brush: Frank Shaving finest badger
Soap: Van der Hagen soap / Palmolive cream / Glycerin
    Scuttle: Robert Becker large
Razor: Otto Busch Weltmeister, 5/8 hollow round point
    Strop: nun2sharp's hanging leather strop
After Shave Splash: Provence home made splash
Notes: Nice relaxing time in the mancave today, altho this razor is falling a little behind. That rewarded me with a small cut inder my jawline while scything - it would not stop on itself so I had to whip out the styptic. Anyways, near BBS and feeling good - let the weekend commence

Thank you Angel, you should edit the photo out of your post though, quoting pics in this thread isn't allowed.

Robert, you don't have a Globusmen?
