    Good morning.

    Start of liberation shave.

    Filarmonica 13 Doble Temple
    Neil Miller linen/English bridle strops
    Omega No. 34
    Al Raz 'Palermo', face lathered
    L'Occitane Apricot shea butter balm
    Miller Harris fleurs de bois

I'm being phased out here, will most likely move back to South Korea soon. Management could simply not take the criticism for the mobbing and harassment that was going on in this swamp; instead of correcting what they had to, they chose the other path which is to cover everything up and practically sack the person that points the weaknesses of the system.

Shave related now, I don't think this shave cream is best when one face lathers and I also don't think its scent is one of my favorites. It lathers well, though, and also offers good glide. The L'Occitane shea butter balm continues to impress and the Miller Harris fragrance tied up nicely today with the grassy Al Raz cream and the Apricot after shave balm.

Off this Sunday for a month's holiday back home, after two very hard and literally awful years here.

    Hey Mikael,
Did you know your razor has legs...Oh wait, that's Mr. Salamander, LOOOOL. Love this Veritable buddy. She's stunningly clean.
But ... I ... I've been wanting one of those Speziales since I was a toddler are you sure you don't want to trade ...

Thank you, it's a sweet blade, not something you see every day and in good nick

    Prep: Hot shower
    Brush: Polo
    Razor: TI, special edition
    Soap: Mama B Rose
    AS: Dr Harris, Sandelwood
    Strops: Neil Miller
    Result: Uberclean

This is a nice razor, special made for a French shaving group - only 80 made with a worked/decorated back, spanish point, ½ hollow (cutting edge rather short at under 2 ½ inches, but it's still a meaty blade) and I think the oak scales are the same as on the latest Wing TI, the "G".

I have an identical Dahlgren frameback that is always a sweet shave. You reminded me of it and I got it out and used it this morning. As usual it was exquisite.

    Razor: Joe Chandler Damascus
    Soap: SRD Sweet Patchouli
    Brush: Semogue LE 2010 #66
    Strop: Kanayama
    EdP: Sigilli Claudiae

Result: Slick and smooth. The Chandler blade is absolutely smooth and has just the right amount of heft to it. The shave was effortless, and I'm set for Friday to roll on into the weekend!

Thank you for all the wonderful shaves you have shared this week gentlemen!

    Prep: Hot Water Wash
Razor: Lecran Cutlery Extra Hollow Ground
    Brush: Semogue 2000
    Cream: C.O. Bigelow
    AS: Skin Bracer
Finish: Murray and Lanman's Florida Water

This shave was just OK. The edge on the razor seemed a tad muddy. While it wasn't a bad shave by any stretch it just wasn't all that great either. At any rate, I'm once again presentable for public display and off to be a happy idiot and struggle for the legal tender. Happy Friday, Brothers
