Tonight I went with 3 passes on the face with my Grandfathers Long Life razor and finished with 2 passes on the head with the DE.
The result was a BBS on the face, and a nice shiny smooth head.
During tonights shave my mind was on the up-coming Sydney SRP get together. It's down at Oz's (Onimaru55) house on Saturday 3rd Sept. I'm REALLY looking forward to it. I've met Oz once before but never met any other Straight Razor junkies in the flesh. Its gonna be fun.

    Prep: Hot Water Wash
    Razor: Imperial Extra Hollow Ground
    Brush: VDH Boar
    Soap: VDH Deluxe
    AS: Dickinson's Witch Hazel
Finish: Brute Cologne, Firehouse Wacky Tacky

I could have slept for 4 more hours this morning no trouble at all. Even though the day started far too early, at least it started with a great shave. Nothing fancy, nothing flashy, brick simple and CBS.

Fantastic Shave Today!! I got a little bit of a rash (razor burn?) the last time I used the Bismarck so I ran it over my coticule for awhile. That must have done the trick because that baby sailed right through my stubble this morning. I'm sure the MdC helped a bit as well

Below is my humble and rookie tribute to Blix's cool strop/razor photo from yesterday!

    EA,
What a nice Wacker-licious shave...That is weird with the order of the passes, but hey, if it ain't broke, don't fix it, right?

Any interesting plans for the long Eid weekend?

    Grant,
Great razor. That meetup at Oz' sounds fun. You'll get to try out his stones (he's got quite a nice collection, I hear). I bet you'll try out his Shapton pros too. Tell him I said hello. Wish I was there too.
