One of the cats had a crew cut today, she was _not_ a happy camper, I had to use a straight a couple of times (scissors and the pro cutter can't manage some of her hair when it gets to bad):

... but she's so easly distracted (kind of like that fish in "Finding Nemo" ):

Someone once referred to something as being as difficult as baptizing a cat. I would wager that shaving one would be just as difficult.

    Default Sunday 9-11-11

Prep: Relaxing hot shower, Proraso pre/post creme
Strop: Home made seatbelt strop w/1.0 diamond paste 10 laps, Star Big Mama 25/40 linen/leather.
    Razor: Beau Brummel Wedge
Post: Clubman AS, AOS unscented balm.
Result: Another unbelievable shave. Since I started using the pasted strop the edges are sooo much sharper. I have a Norton 4000/8000 as a finisher so the pasted strop really seems to make a huge difference in the edge.

    Jamie,
Experimenting these days I see, eh? I am sure you look good with or without a goatee. The important to question though is whether the missus approves, LOL.

This Vost razor was a gift from Oz (Onimaru55) at the Sydney get together last weekend and this was my first shave with it.
I almost never get a 2 pass BBS, but have done so twice in the last week with 2 different razors honed by Oz. The man is good on the stones.
    Grant,
Congratulations on coming away with this wonderful Vost. Kudos to Oz for gifting it to you. He is truly the genuine article, a true gentleman and not because he gave this razor to you. That's just him. In my numerous email exchanges with him, it became very clear to me that the guy is a wealth of information. He really knows his stones...you could say he is "stone Crazy", LOOOOL
