I'll never forget 9/11, watched the whole thing on CNN just after the first plane hit.

Can't believe it's 10 years already. The day that meant my first trip to the US was delayed by a few days, but meant I eventually got to NYC, if on much more more solemn levels than had intended...

    .

    Razor: Fontenille 6/8
    Strop: Ambrose Cordovan (20/60)
Preshave: Truefitt&Hill Ultimate Comfort shave oil
Brush: Simfix Super Badger 2 Band
    lather: Williams shaving soap
    AS: Aqua Velva
    EdT: Czech&Speake, Oxford&Cambridge
Comments: A fine shave, with some products simple and known, but really able to give a good feeling. The Williams is a bit tricky in Navarra, maybe this puck misses the streets of New York were it was bought, it has required some work to give lather enough, but finally I have arrived to the end of the shaving road smoothly. A warm hug to the people in the US.

After a very long weekend of 16 hrs days it was nice to come home and get a nice shower and shave.
Very long, hot shower with the whiskers prepped.
    Warm Oil
    Hannah made Ceramic Bowl
    Custom Badger Brush
    Nancy Boy Shave Cream, glycerine
Maxterpeice, Otto Fromm, 72 Special, 5/8 full hollow in Horn.
    SRD P1 Strop, 50 linen, 50 leather
    AOS Aluminum
    Pinaud Bay Rum
    Vaseline for Men
    Glenmorangie 21 Neat

So I had a nice shower and a great shave after a long weekend. Needless to say I was deployed with some very heavily armed operators who were ready for anything. The nice part of the day was all the folks that took the time to thank us. It was heartwarming to hear their thanks and see their smiles. Some folks even asked, and got permission to take photo's with us.

I hope you enjoy the picture of the Lady.
