I have been absent for a while from here and for very good reason. Last Tuesday my wife gave birth to our first child, a baby boy named Paxten! I know there are many proud fathers who post here, and now, I'm happy to say I am a member of that elite fraternity as well. I'm still adjusting to the new member of our family, but the shaves must go on!

And welcome to the Fathers club. Be sure to make him a proud member of our "team" in due time! My son is soon to be 20, and when he visit he always want a straight shave from his father. Christmas gift this year will be a nice badger brush, a straight and a scuttle..

BassGuy - Why do the ladies always dig the band guys? Congrats!!!! Now is a great time to let her know how much this little hobby costs you!!! That way you can always say she know before marrying you!!! We here at SRP will all be expecting invitations since we know you must have good taste - in ladies, music and shaving - I am sure we would enjoy the wedding as well. Please post up engagement photos and the such when you get them done!

Fbones24 - Congrats, what a beautiful addition to the family! Now you will have someone to pass on your heirlooms. I would celebrate with a custom from one of the makers here at SRP, wait never-mind you will need to pay for diapers and start that college fund. Instead, treat yourself to a missing piece of your collection.
