I don't want to reply to you all as I don't want to hog the thread and distract from the focus, but really, (really) I appreciate all your comments guys, really I do. Decided to shave with the Beau Brummel wedge in cracked ice scales that are a beautiful shade of green ( my favorite color). So I thought I might as well make it a total green shave!
Prep: Hot Shower / Proraso pre-post creme
Brush: AOS Pure Badger
Scuttle: Georgetown Pottery G5 in ivory and green
Soapreme: Proraso SS/AOS SC unscented/glycerin Uber
Razor: Beau Brummel Wedge 11/16" square point
Post: Proraso AS
Result: BBS with the wonderful "green" scent of Proraso!

The Rotbart is an excellent shaver. A two piece design similar to the Merkur HD. Since the Rotbart is an older model I assume Merkur copied its design.

Made me try touching up a razor with a coti+lather, and finished with 20 laps with oil as well. Worked out rather well.

• Pre: Lather on face.
• Shaving brush: Semogue SOC 2-band
• Shaving cream: Al's Calypso

• Strop: Kanayama Fine Stars (OMG so good!)
• Touchup: 100 laps(small coti) with Cella lather on a Les Lat+20 laps with oil
